Relays for NPOs and economic development

    Organizations and referral partners

You refer; NIYA delivers. Segment from $50,000 in transaction value. No membership fee. NIYA does not duplicate your offer.

    The situation

Cities, MRCs, chambers of commerce, CDEs, and NPOs see people every week who want to take over, sell, or structure an SME. That is not always your mandate — and it is not your job to become a transfer firm or a certification practice.

    NIYA's response

You become a relay. You identify the profile, you introduce the person, NIYA takes the mandate. Partnership at no cost. Fees stay with the person being supported, not with the organization.

    Referral and partnership

    Refer a takeover

    Description

Someone who wants to become an SME owner rather than start from scratch: a manager, a skilled immigrant, a family successor, or an investor who wants to operate.

    How this helps you

You open structured support for them — sourcing, certification, analyses, continuity — instead of leaving them alone in front of listings and banks.

    Refer a transfer

    Description

Someone who wants to sell their business and has no prepared successor, or who refuses to pay 5 to 10% to a broker.

    How this helps you

You offer them a clean exit: registry, diagnostic, fixed-fee mandate, matching with a qualified successor. You protect jobs and the local fabric.

    Refer a growth mandate

    Description

An SME in your territory that needs to structure its course, financing, marketing, or HR — without a large-firm budget.

    How this helps you

You remain the development organization; NIYA delivers advisory mandates at solidarity pricing, with AI included.

    Refer toward grants

    Description

Clients eligible for programs (Plan PME, PAPDE, Black communities, Accès PME, and other Canada databases) who have neither the time nor the reflex to apply.

    How this helps you

You raise the rate of files actually submitted. NIYA does the watch, the qualification, and the assembly — you do not have to become a grant writer.

    How referral works

    Description

Three steps, kept deliberately simple. 1) You identify a profile in takeover, transfer, or growth. 2) You direct the person to a 30-minute NIYA discovery call. 3) NIYA takes the mandate — without duplicating your offer or your fees.

    How this helps you

No heavy form, no membership fee, no competition with your programs. You remain the trusted relay; NIYA delivers.

    Grant alignment

    Description

NIYA services are designed to line up with programs your teams already know: Plan PME, PAPDE, Black communities, Accès PME, and the DEC, MESI, FEC, BDC, and Futurpreneur databases.

    How this helps you

You point toward a provider that speaks the same language as funders — files, eligibility, compliance — instead of sending your clients into a void.

    Partnership at no cost

    Description

No membership fee for the relay organization. NIYA does not charge you to be a partner. Contact: Victoria Allen — info@niyafondation.com.

    How this helps you

You test the relay with no budget commitment. If referral helps your clients, you continue. If it is not the right tool, you have paid nothing.
