NIYA Foundation

    Takeover support

    Become an SME owner

Flexible support, at your pace, from the first question through the 24 months after purchase. Open to everyone.

    The situation

Starting from scratch is long, risky, and often solitary. A business already in operation has clients, revenue, and a team. Businesses that are taken over survive at 80% after five years, versus 57% for new ones.

    NIYA's response

You choose your entry point: a call to validate the project, a watch to explore the market, certification to become financeable, then support after the purchase. Each module stands alone.

    Support services

    Discovery call

    Free

    Description

30 minutes to validate your profile, explore whether a takeover is right for you, and identify the best entry point — sourcing, certification, or both.

    How this helps you

You leave with a clear assessment: whether a takeover suits you, where to start, and what may be financed or subsidized.

    Watch for businesses for sale

    From $500

    Description

We identify businesses for sale against your criteria — sector, size, territory, budget. You decide which ones to explore. Cancellable at any time, available without certification.

    How this helps you

You stop searching alone in the noise of the market. You see real targets, at the right scale, and you move forward only when a business interests you.

    Analyses on request

    From $1,500

    Description

When a target interests you: preliminary valuation, due diligence, financial structuring, and transaction support. Piece by piece, only as needed.

    How this helps you

You avoid buying blind. You know what the business is worth, which risks are hidden, and how to finance the purchase.

    NIYA Successor Certification®

    From $8,500

    Description

The training that combines 100 hours of business-takeover certification, AI built into every module, the health of the person who leads, and a co-takeover model (2 to 6 people). Nine modules plus an AI foundation module — without an M0 to M9 catalogue on this page.

    How this helps you

You become financeable: analyze a target, finance, negotiate, secure, and lead. Certification includes a 25% discount on all NIYA services. Goal: bring the remaining cost down to $1,500 through institutional partnerships in development.

    • 100 hours, hybrid format
    • 9 modules + AI foundation module
    • 6 Excel tools and a booklet of 10 AI prompts
    • Distribution Boréal case file
    • Access to the NIYA ecosystem
    • Pilot cohort — fall 2026 · 10 places

    Post-acquisition continuity

    From $1,000/month

    Description

After the purchase: 100-day plan, human transition, finances, and growth. Optional monthly support, duration of your choosing, eligible to be included in acquisition financing. Ten hours of support per month.

    How this helps you

Taking over is not finishing. You secure operations, then you master them, then you grow — without carrying everything alone for the first 24 months.

    • Months 1–6 — Transition: taking charge and securing operations
    • Months 6–12 — Mastery: optimization and strategic alignment
    • Months 12–24 — Growth: expansion and long-term innovation

Tight budget? Several grant programs can cover a large share of these costs. NIYA aims to bring certification down to $1,500 remaining through institutional partnerships in development.

Amounts in Canadian dollars. Taxes extra.
